Kitchen Table Talk(s): Intergenerational Community Panel and Roundtables

  • Japanese American Museum of San Jose 535 North 5th Street San Jose, CA, 95112 United States (map)

House Meeting(s) is an exhibit currently on display at the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj), about the fight for redress and reparations regarding the incarceration of Japanese Americans.

Kitchen Table Talk(s) is a program that dives deeper into the ideas of community organizing and activism—creating a space for intergenerational conversation and connection.

This program is free with museum admission and will feature a panel discussion from activists who shaped and drove the redress movement, as well as roundtable discussions on a variety of topics regarding being involved in community and activism. It will also be held concurrently on Zoom for those unable to be in community with us physically. We hope to see you there!

Panelists: Tom Izu, Susan Hayase, Yumi Hatta, and Francis Wong
Moderator: Yuki Nishimura
