During WWII some 120,000 Japanese Americans were forcibly removed and incarcerated. They were placed into temporary "Assembly Centers" then desolate camps in the interior of the United States.

The JAMsj Store offers an extensive collection of books, DVDs and CDs for children and adults, plus many other interesting items to extend and enhance the visitor's experience. You will also find unique hand-crafted jewelry, greeting cards, and many other creations made by volunteers, local artists, and craftspeople.

Admission is waived for those who simply wish to browse the store. We heartily welcome all walk-ins: Irasshaimase!
